We can be very naïve and make assumptions that just because this is Africa then all African children will have seen their indigenous animals.

Unfortunately this is not the case and despite living an hour’s drive from a Safari Park, the children had never seen a giraffe and other animals.

Your generosity helps us to arrange the occasional treat.

In July the children were taken to Bamburi and saw their first giraffes.

On Jim’s recent visit they went to the beach and saw their first camels!

With the exception of one child who had done it before, they swam in the sea for the first time!

Needless to say, they swim in streams and ponds at home.

After exhausting play in the park, the sea and on the beach, it’s time to relax and enjoy the picnic.
