New school nurse comes to visit

We are funding a health check for all our school children every month.

Good food, education and health are all essential to give young children the start in life we all expect. At our school, we already provide a good balanced diet, in addition to a good education. Now we are helping with health.

Our funding pays for a nurse to visit the school every month. She is able to treat any minor conditions, as well as check every child. Our funding also covers the cost of medications for any minor treatments needed.

During our last visit, a health team from the Government was able to vaccinate all the children. Before our school was running, their work was much harder, because they had to find the children in their homes. The stability that school brings, has benefits for more than just education.
